Ratatouille Adventure: Hanging with Remy!

While I love all of the attractions at Walt Disney World, some are definitely more thrilling than others. The Ratatouille ride is one of my favorites because it’s so unique and fun! This ride takes place in a restaurant kitchen where you’re helping Remy the famous rat cook up some delicious food that he can then take back to his family. You’ll be whisked away on an adventure through Gusteau’s famous Parisian restaurant as you try your best to help Remy out.

What Makes Ratatouille Adventure Truly an Experience

RRA is one of Disney’s new breed of rides with an integrated 4-D experience which mixes real life objects with on screen video that transports you to the middle of a movie scene. On this ride, you are moving in a small “mouse car” underneath cabinets and pipes to simulate being bounced around Gusteau’s restaurant while Remy is trying to help assemble a meal for his friends and family. The ride is a lot of fun as you are spun around, sprayed with water and air and even the heat of an oven, which makes you feel like you are really in the kitchen!

How to Get to Ratatouille Adventure

If you are thinking about checking out RRA, then you will want to start your day early online using the My Disney Experience app with GENIE + to get a virtual queue pass. This VQ pass, available starting at 7am in the app, will allow you to bypass the standby line and usually on the ride within the first few hours of the day. If you don’t get a VQ pass at 7am, you can visit the park and try again at 1pm, and then as a last resort, purchase an Individual Lightning Lane pass for $7-$8.

With your pass in hand (and approved time), you can head over to the France pavilion at Epcot and walk around the building to the RRA entrance. From there you will go through a small queue and soon be on the best new ride at Epcot.

Conclusion

This new ride, Ratatouille Adventure, is a must-see for any Disney fan. It’s the perfect way to celebrate France and their beloved dish, plus our favorite animated rodent (besides Mickey)! You can experience this exciting adventure at Epcot’s France Pavilion in World Showcase. Hurry over, so you can be one of the first to experience it!
